He became well-known as ‘Black Alien’ through his extensive body modifications, aiming to transform himself into an extraterrestrial being as per his own vision.
Previously, Loffredo shared with his Instagram followers the emotional toll his journey has taken:
“I did not expect it to have so much impact on the world, to be known I did not know how to manage it and my project has lost its meaning.
“One thing is for sure I no longer want to touch my body or take anything off or put anything on, I am putting an end to the modification of my body for the moment I no longer like this world.
In an interview with the French newspaper Midi Libre, as reported by the New York Post, Loffredo previously explained his initial reasons for beginning his transformation.
He recalled a pivotal moment while working as a security guard, saying:
“I love getting into the shoes of a scary character. I often settle down somewhere and play a role, especially at night in the dark streets…
“I explore the contrast between the role I play and myself.”
In a Channel 4 documentary, Loffredo reminisced, revealing that he was once considered a ‘very sexy guy’.
He further reflected on his past on Instagram, writing: “13 years/35 years. A slave to the body of the free spirit.
More recently, Loffredo discussed the difficulties he faces in finding a job due to his distinctive appearance.
On an episode of the Club 113 podcast, Loffredo shared:
“Like me, I don’t understand lots of things about lots of people. You can’t judge someone, no one knows what’s inside someone’s head, why they’re doing that, you need to talk with this person.
He concluded: “I’m a normal guy, I work, I have a family… I like being looked at like a normal guy with a job, with a family, who has a friend, girlfriend, all of that.
“That’s what makes me normal.”
